My husband and I have had a terrible year. He was very emotionally and verbally abusive but we're both in counseling now and trying to work things out. We were both to the point where we were ready to separate and then we decided to give it a little more time. I know he's trying, but I'm so sad all of the time and I'm not at peace over whether or not I've made the right decision to give it more time. We don't have kids and at this point in time I don't get excited thinking about having a family with him. I don't know what to do... I'm on a low dosage anti-depressant but I don't want to be on any medicine at all for too much longer, I just want to get my life figured out.

Aww (((((freedom555)))))....Well it looks like u care of love him if your willing to give it one more shot...the counseling that u guys tried is a step in the right direction. I would stick around a little bit more and let time take it course. I know its hard but if u guys really want to try to stay together, Stay on the counseling. As far as the symptoms u mite be feeling...it could just be well what your going through right now its common for people to feel like this when their marriage is in jeopardy. Hang in their.

Hi Freedom,

Wanted to welcome you to the depression forum. ONe day at a time is my motto. I think that is the best way to go. Keep up with the counseling. It is good that you are both going. I hope that things work out for you.

Best wishes, keep posting.

Hugs, Karen
