Greetings to all

I have been suffering with the most horrendous agony of continuous anxiety and depression. Not to mention, I lost the greatest woman in the world because I could not keep it under control.

Anyway, I filled for s.s.d.i. about two months ago. I have been diagnosed by a therapist and a shrink. I also have a learning disorder. The problem is I went years without treatment, so my documentation does not go back that far.

Long story short, I have a safety plan with my therapist saying that I will be commuted to a hospital if I cannot control my suicidal tenancies. I am at the point of having myself commuted. Every day is a battle just to stay alive.

Also I think I have personality disorders and Bipolar, but my therapist does not know. I am thinking that the Doctors at the hospital I commit myself to can give a second opinion. I also think that it will help with my ssdi claim.

What do you all think?

I am happy to keep you all updated throughout the proses. I would also just appropriate the fact that I have a place to come and share these feelings with other people.

Thank You

Hi Chrisallen555,

Getting ssdi can be a long grewling process. But there is always a chance that you will be approved right away. If not, be prepared for it to take a long time. Sometimes you get denied up to three times. I do think your hospital stay will help you though, so you have that going for you. I hope that you get it without a lot of trouble. They want you to give up so they make it difficult for you. Remember that.

Best wishes to you.

Hugs, Karen

hi jamie here, am in australia.
i think an admission is the right thing for you at this time. also it will give you a chance to get things for you soughted a bit, including treatment and diagnosis. also your doctors can get together and get the right info together for your claim. hoping you feel better soon. with healing compassion, jamie.
