Welcome to the depression forum. What about
trying counseling again, maybe with a different counselor. Maybe the counselor you had wasn't for you and you didn't get anywhere. Or talk to your parents and tell them you want a check up and bring it up during your check up. That is if you can't tell them that you want to get on medication or get help.
Teenage depression can be hard because it is hard to talk to the adults that you need to. But counseling would also be a way to go because they would help you get a doctor that would get you medication if that is what you need. I guess that you are taking the right steps because you are here. It is a start. I will post some teen sites that might also be helpful.
