I came here to talk about the stress I am going threw but then i was like blaaaaa whats the point?
I have lost interest in everything i loved..
I don't do anything anymore but what is required of me and even that seems like its alot of work.
I hate my Wife...
So much going on I have Migraines every day.
I have High blood pressure and cholesterol... I hate taking medication so i never get them filled...
I could write a book on my life and everyone who reads it would be amazed on how i survive...
I don't have emotions anymore.. I don't feel anything for anyone...
I do love my children but i think its because i know i have to..
I am not saying i am a bad person because i would do anything for anyone, i would give my life for my children.. But deep down i feel i have lost half my soul.
I am not sure if this makes any sence...

Should i start from the beginning?

It sounds like you're going through a pretty serious depression, I would get to a psychiatrist as soon as possible. The sooner diagnosed and treated, the sooner you'll get back to normal. Take it from me, you can't just grin and bear depression, it will get worse if untreated. You would probably do well to go to your primary doctor and tell him how you've been feeling, then he will most likely refer you to a psychiatrist. Don't wait, just do it. There are a lot of good treatments out there that can help you feel like your old self again.

God bless, my friend.

hi JA, depression sucks, and it does seem like you are experiencing depression; i could be an episode, or it could be situational, thus having a chat with your doc is something i highly recommend. your doc may assist you in various ways, medication, on referal to a counsellor and or a combination of both. you have done real well with your first post. know that we are here for you JA. this is a wonderful and supportive community. keep posting. when you are ready you will know what you want to post; there is nn pressure. hoping you feel better soon. take care, jamie.

Hi there,
Welcome to the depression forum.  First of all, I want to warn you about not taking your blood pressure medications, you could have a stroke.  It is very important to get your blood pressure back to normal.  It is nothing to take lightly.
Yes it does sound like you have depression.  I think the others have said it well.  Get help!!!  This is really important.  If you don't take care of yourself, how can you take care of your family?  Seriously, talk to a doctor or a psychiatrist.  You need to catch this before it gets any worse.
Hugs, Karen
