im 14 an i maybe a teenager still but what ive gone through in my short life would astound you.the past year i had a best friend that was like one ive never had before,like a sister an when your family treates you like crap she was the only happyness i had.after skewl let out we didnt hangout anymore so our friendship fell apart.i was really depressed after that,during the skewl year i took up  for a few months then  nly once to try an cope with my rush of emotions.loosing a friend like that made my life a wreck.i have to hide my life from my parents beacause they never understand so i dont invite friends over, kinda scared my life is a waste even though the people i do talk to say it isnt.i want to find answers to my feelings an fix them so i can live a normal scared to go to a counselour because i dnt want my parents findin out i feel this way caus they would just yell at me an webcam counselin would be kinda scary.any adrice??????  please share...

Sorry that I had to edit your post but we are not allowed to discuss self harm or illegal substances on the forum. 
Welcome to HealingWell!!!  This is a wonderful forum with a lot of help.  Though I highly recommend counseling for you, I know that you don't want to go.  So here are a few teen sites that might help you.
Some of these should help you.  And we will do what we can for you.  Though you don't sound actually depressed, you sound more sad at the loss of your friend.  I hope that you feel better soon.  Try to keep open communication with your parents.  Don't feel like your problems are a bother to them.  Because your problems are just as real as anybody elses.
