Hi

It always seems that after one month my meds seem to lose or not have as much effect. First month I had Cipralex 10 mg...after that month they were upped to 20 mg. After a month they didn't work and then got switched to Pristiq 50 mg. Now it's a month later and I've had a couple of bad days and things seem to be going downhill again. Feeling bad and negative and angry again.

Is this normal? What do I do? I can't stand living like this anymore. I know it takes time but I have to get some stability here because it's messing up my life.

Any advice?

I take 100mg of pristiq a day. I also take abilify. It works well for me. It is a good combination. I hope that a med adjustment is all that it takes. I think that this is normal. They say that meds reach their full effect in four to six weeks. Talk to your doctor. See what they recommend.

Best wishes,
Hugs, Karen
