The only advice I can offer is to take things one day at a time and live in the moment. Try not to worry about the past or future. Keep posting and know that we all care about you. I hope that things get better for you soon. I don't know a lot about chrones. Can't even spell it But I know that it is painful. Staying in the moment it so important. You will have your children back soon. Hopefully they can help you around the house.

Take care my friend. Keep posting.

Hugs, Karen

I agree with Karen; the past is already gone, the future is not yet here so live for today. I have also found it helpful to a) think about others who are struggling with things worse than mine and be thankful for my blessings and b) meditate and pray by asking God to "release me from my stress and trust in You", "release me from my worry and trust in You". Sometimes I pray a lot, sometimes a little but I always feel better when I do.

Good Morning,
Crohn's Disease is a tough disorder  to live with.  My husband has this same disease.  I am sorry you have been away from your children for 4 weeks as that certainly adds to your worries.
I am wondering if you could talk with your physician and see if they have a therapist available that could come and talk with you while you are in the hospital?
Also not sure where you are in your recovery but try to get out of your room and walk the halls,  sit in the sunroom or chapel if they have one.  Concentrate on just feeling peaceful.
Keep coming here and talking with us.
