Hi Ni,
Welcome to the Depression Forum. If you think you might be suffering from Major Depressive Disorder or Bipolar Disorder, I would encourage you to find a counselor in your local area or talk to your primary care physician to ask for a referral. It certainly does sound like you have a lot going on right now & are trying to make decisions about your lifestyle and values. Because of the huge impact those decisions can have on your life, they probably are best made in a professional setting.

best wishes,

This is a tough one and as I don't know anything about your background or believes I will have to agree with Frances ~ professional advice may be the best thing for you to do.  Please keep in mind that online love and love in the real world can be two different things.
You deserve to be happy so do look for a counselor.

Hi ni,
I'm sorry if I sound too curious but how old are you? Secondly,I agree with Frances and kitt, you haven't provided any basic information about yourself meeting some counsellor or talking with an elder might help.
I don't want to preach but it all sounds very hazy. Have you both ever spend time together? I'm going to stop as I'm none to lecture you as I just might end up doing. Just that I don't wish you to fall into the pits of depression. I care and so do people on this forum.

Whatever you do consult your elders they might not be from the same generation but their advices are by experience.

Take care.
