When you see your therapist, you should be completely honest with them if you feel you can trust them. They can't help you if they don't know what you are up against. You can get through this. Don't ever give up.

You have come to a good place to get it all off your chest.

Good that you took the initiative to see the doctor. It isn't bad that you burst into tears, a picture says 1000 words, and you said you were short of words.

Cutting is so very very temporary, then you have those scars. Its time to call the doctor's office, leave a msg, make an appt. The doctor prescribes medicine, but it is up to us to let him know that it didn't do the trick. He'll maybe give you a higher dose, or put you on something else.

Can you go to a school counselor about your feelings and especially the cutting? They are familiar with these things and can guide you.

How long have you been on the anti-depressant?

Keep posting.
People are here for you.
