Depressed and need help

Hello I'm new to this I just discovered this site I have been searching for a while for some help. Ok I have been ruining my relationship by just being so moody and not having any interest for anything anymore and just thinking horrible and mean things about myself like thinking im worthless.Nobody wants to be around me and I don't blame them. I just want to feel like myself again I do have alot of traumatic memories from my past and I know I need help but I have no idea where to go or how to go about seeking the help I need. Can someone please help Thank you for your time

Do you know why you are thinking these crazy things about yourself? Nobody on this earth is worthless, we are all here for a reason and God didn't make anyone worthless. You know you are moody and you are right there, that nobody wants to be around someone who is moody, it will be a sure way of killing friendships.

You say you know you need help to deal with traumatic things that have happened to you in the past, then go and speak to your doctor, that would be a good starting point. Ask him to refer you to a counsellor and then you will be on the right track to finding out the answers to the questions you have.

I wish you good luck and I hope also that you will continue to post and let us know how you are going.

I am sorry to hear you are  feeling down and depressed.  First of all I would suggest you see your primary doctor to make sure you have nothing physically going on that could be causing your symptoms.  Be sure to tell the doctor exactly how you feel.  Perhaps a therapist would be helpful to you. 

Never lose hope in dealing with your fears and depression. Notice your feelings, figure out what's real, ask 'so what?', make it bigger than life, walk through it, and celebrate who you are.
