Have been off HW for some days now because a lot has happened in a short amount of time.  Good things though, including getting a contract job that starts Monday.  Exactly what I needed.

Went to the psychiatrist today.

She is convinced I have OCD, and she believes the OCD is the trigger for my depression and anxiety.  My psychologist, after what we discussed yesterday, also suddenly became concerned about OCD, so perhaps things are falling into place.

So I start citalopram at a low dose tonight, and the psychiatrist is going to monitor me closely because of the side-effects I had with cymbalta (which she told me was not the medicine to be on if one has OCD).  She wants to take it very slowly because she believes I have a sensitivity to meds, and she wants to make sure we take one step before we take another.  We will see where it goes.

More when I can.

Best to everyone.

Hi Sandy,

I got a call Wed. morning while I was at the pain clinic.  Was from a guy I have worked for in the past.  He told me the place he was working for - the manager of a project was in a tizzy because he had no idea how they are going to get a lot of work done developing the actual work plan.  My contact mentioned my name, and the boss remembered me from a past contract with them - and he asked if my contact thought I might be willing to work for them again.

My contact said - let me call him and find out, and it developed from there.  Totally out of the blue, and totally quick.  I am to be at their regional office on Monday.  I will explain more once I get there, but I am trying to wrap up so many other things at home right now, that's making me dizy too.  The job runs at least through January, and it is big money.

Thanks.

Super fantastic, and big money too, just in time for the holidays, yay !
And this gives you a good recent job reference. But I forget, did you apply for disability?
Take that friend out to lunch, ha ha.

Will keep an eye out for your future posts.
How's it going at the pain clinic?
Hope your side effects are subsiding. Maybe if you could split the pill and start out even slower?
I started my Trazadone last night, she said start at 50 mg, but I figured oh what the, and took 100, sat here at the computer and BAM, got kinda tired, stood up and was wobbly, just made it to bed and have been sawing logs.
