Talk about it to your counselor. He/she maybe can help you through this. It is hard when somebody dies and you remember them on the anniversary of their death. Try to remember fond memories. This will help you. Celebrate her life if you can. But you may need a good cry and in the therapist office, that is a good place to do so.

My heart goes out to you.

Good Morning,
I hope you can make this a day of memories and think of all the wonderful things your Mom and you shared while she was with you.  Remember this is an anniversary of the date of your  Mom's death but not the day she actually died as you can only live that day once.  It took my therapist to teach me that as I always felt like I was reliving that day.
Do whatever feels right for you today and remember there is not right or wrong way to grieve.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Gentle Hugs to you,
