The best way to help your son is to get better yourself. Do not think about dieing and become someone your son can anchor to. Perhaps you should see a family counselor and a psychiatrist.
Sorry, this is only my opinion but when people discuss dieing at your age I believe it to be against the norm to the degree that someone must step in to get you straight enough to help yourself.

Hey there,

I want to welcome you both to the forum. But we are not allowed to discuss suicide here. So lets just please try to support eachother.

I really think your sone needs some one on one counseling. Is he going? It is so important with his state of mind. I hope that you can see that. At the age he is at, his mind is fragile. Try to keep things light and keep him active.

I really don't know what to say other than counseling, he may need some medication for his depression. I too was bullied as a teenager. It is hard, I turned to the wrong things that made me feel better. But I did survive and am a happy individual now with my depression in remission. Thanks to meds and counseling. I go often. Please keep an eye on him. Get him a good counselor. He needs to go over what happened and know that he didn't do anything wrong. And that there is nothing wrong with him.

Best wishes to you both. Keep posting. This is a wonderful forum.

Hugs, Karen

Thank you everyone for taking the time to read my post. I will try a new counselor and just stay strong for my son and hope that he will grow out of it. We will survive:)!
