Hey everyone im back and I guess things are going okay. yeah <-Thats my im okay dance lol. Im in a little bit of a Christmas funk though. It seems like no one is in the spirit in my neighborhood there's only like four houses that decorated. My mother also said we could get my instrument fixed for Christmas, I play alto sax. I asked her when we would take it to the music store and she said we weren't. Out of cash and no gas to travel that far. This will be like the second year in a row with no presents, but whenever I start thinking like this I always remind myself that's not what Christmas is about. It's a time of the year to be thankful, joyous and spend time with your family. I've also started appyling to states colleges here in Virginia. I want to study animation so I can become an animator and animate cartoons and movies for kids. I even hope I can makes a few movies with Disney. I only want to do like 2D animations because I feel like that's the basic foundation of cartoons and 3D animations are just for lazy people who don't want draw. I've started to apply to VCU online. I just need my mother to fill the in-state tuition form. She's kinda reluctant because she doesn't understand why I need to go to college to be an animator. confused   She'd rather I study Biology since im kinda good at Science so I can get a in a lab. She says I'd make a lot of money that way, but I want to do something I would enjoy doing. I tried to apply to VSU, but my gpa is only 2.0 and I need a 2.2. I was wondering if maybe I could still apply because if pull through for the rest of the school then my gpa will rise, but I don't know if has to be already be a 2.2 when I apply because im assuming the deadline for freshman applicants is probably next month. Lastly I been job hunting and I can describe how that's going in one word....EPIC FAIL. shakehead   I have to find a job within walking distance to my house because my mother works from 12pm-12am and I have no license or car so I limited to walking. There are about 6 fast-food resturants by my house, but none are hiring except one; Burger King. I've applied and I've tried to contact their hiring manager Stan"The Invisble Man" numerous times of the day, but he's never there. mad Anyways that's pretty much been happening so if anything else happens I'll update again. Later!

Keep trying at the Burger King, they get sick of seeing your face after a while and hire you. It works. I always kept bugging the places that I got a job at.

I hope you get your gpa up so that you can get into the college of your choice. I always loved to draw. Took art courses in college. Should have gotten a scholarship but blew it off stupidly. I hope you do well. Just keep at it and yes, do what you love.

Hugs, Karen

Well I only walked in once when I was asking about their application process. All the other times I contacted them by phone. Unfortunately, I talked to Stan "The Invisible Man" yesterday and there are no longer hiring so that kinda sucks, but I kinda have a plan. I'm going to start looking for work near my school so after school I can walk to work and my mother can come get me after she gets off work at midnight because my school is like 6-8 miles from my neighborhood. I know getting off work that late might be hard to balance with school, but I am in DESPERATE need of money.
