My friend is getting baptized this morning and I am going to miss it. I have severe IBS so it takes me several hours each morning before I am able to leave the house. My plan was to wake up real early to let my stomach do its thing so I could get there in time but instead I was up all night and feel like crap this morning. Yesterday my ex wife celebrated her birthday party near my house and it bothered me alot. For those who don't know she cheated on me most of our marriage and when I found out recently it was devestating. I have been turning to religion and counseling to help deal with my issues and it was something I was really looking forward to.

Sorry you have to miss your friend's baptisim, that must really suck.  I have IBD so I know what you are going through with the whole stomach thing.  I hate missing things and I hate feeling like it controls my life.  Try not to let your ex-wife bother you, it probably doesn't help your stomach any.  Things will get better!!!  Remember tomorrow is a new day. Hope you have a good week!  Jennifer

Hi Eric,
Sorry your not feeling well and you have to miss the baptism. I am really sorry also that you had to go through so much with your wife. But ai think maybe finding a higher power is a good thing. Your higher power cfan help you get through anything. Prayer is big in my life. I came over for the crohns board. I can relate to the IBS you suffer with as I have crohns disease and anything having to do with your stomach or intestines can be painful and frustrating. Hang in there. I'll keep you in my prayers. With God all things are possible. I pray that you feel better soon and much better days are ahead of you. take care. and be well. Donna
