If it's depression bothering you, kitt, here are a few ideas that work for me:
Never judge yourself based on what someone else's idea of who you are. People reveal more of themselves when they speak than anything else.
Stop judging yourself negatively or positively; don't even judge yourself at all--just live life based on your deepest inner principles.
Try to lose interest in conflict and lose the ability to worry.
Try to let things happen rather than make them happen.
Try to think and act spontaneously rather than based on fear or past
Take a couple of Alkaseltzers if sleep is interrupted in the middle of
the night--I can say only that it works for me.
Work on your contented feelings of connectedness to God, especially, and others. Remember "All things work for good for those who..." you know the rest.
