Well, Lamictal didn't work for me. Now, I am taking 10 mg of Celexa for depression. I took it today, and noticeably I felt a little better within a few hours (though likely a placebo effect). However, like the Lamictal, it seems to be clouding my thoughts and dulling my cognition. I'm having trouble forming words and comprehending basic conversations. Also, does anyone know about weight-gain side-effects with this medicine? Thanks guys,
WIlliam

Hi William,

Hopefully this is a side effect and will go away. Give it a couple of weeks unless it gets too bad, then call your doctor. I don't know about weight gain with this drug, but there is likely to be somebody else who does.

Hope that you feel better soon.

Hugs, Karen
