I am considering switching to taking my Lexapro (20mg) at nights as it seems to make me very tired. I have always been a night owl and have read that I may sleep better taking it at night and be more alert during the day. Right now I am tired and napping all day and awake all night. Going back to work soon, so this has to change! How do I go about this switch? Just skip a day and start taking it at night the next day? Or take half dose in the morning and half dose at night, then full dose at night going forward? What have others done? Thanks!

I think that is something you need to talk to your doctor about. As we can't give you that type of advice. It just isn't safe to switch without consulting your doctor first.

One way, you will miss a dose and the other you will have two doses during one day. So please consult your doctor that prescribed it to you. Sorry I can't be of more help.
