Walking and meditation helps me a lot. I highly advise it to others. As with counseling. Great topic Jamie. I hope more people chime in with what helps them.

I've found that reading books or watching movies about people who have struggled and made it through helps me.  Also, the things others have mentioned of course.

You can't imagine how helpful the Depression Forum is for leads to
interesting subjects related to depression and sources for healing the illness. This new one about a gene that inhibits the ability to form
serotonin (and the two others--dopamine and norepinephrine) is extremely intriguing; in fact, I'm going to ask my psychiatrist about its use the next time I visit. Somebody just posted about it earlier; thanks so much to that person.  She called it Deplin.

I'll let you know what my psychiatrist thinks.  I much prefer a route like this to that of taking meds.

Everybody is well today, I hope.
