Hi all,

I'm on my last week of citalopram before I go onto sertraline, so I'm only on 10mg every other day.
My mood hasn't been too bad, until the last few days.
I don't want to see anyone, I'm snapping at my hubby for no reason and I just generally feel down in the dumps.

I know I only have until Thursday until I start my new anti depressants, but then I have to wait about 2 weeks until they kick in.

Does anyone have any advice for me at this hard time?

Thanks cry

I am not familiar with with the meds. Do you have children? If not, maybe you can take the time to take walks, time to yourself, listen to music and pamper yourself. Also explain to your husband what is going on so he understands that you aren't snapping at him because you are angry but just because you are going through a rough time right now. I have had these episodes and sometimes I force myself to go and do things with my friends or go run errands or try to focus on things such as the house or a hobby. I hope this helps and keep your chin up.

ps...I also have Fibro so I also know how difficult that can be compounded with depression. If you need to talk email me.

PS... I am a stampin up demonstrator and I love to make cards and I noticed you do to on your profile. Try to work on that. Sometimes when I keep my hands busy, it helps. In fact that is what I am going to do today!

Hi Amz. Welcome to Healing Well. Sounds like you have great advice already. I think some exercise (even if it is just walking), listening to music and keeping your hands busy are great ideas. The key is to keep your mind and/and or body occupied. Also, try to eat right and get a decent amount of rest. I know when I haven't slept my moods and depression are that much harder to handle.

Keep posting. You will find a lot of love and support here. yeah
