Hi all,

Just thought i'd update you all on my weight loss and what the doctor said.

I have lost another pound in 3 days, so far i have gone from 8stone 8 to 8 stone 2 in about 2 weeks. my doctor has referred me to a clinic, because of other problems, he wants me to have a smear done a year earlier than i should.
so he wants to see what happens with that before he does anything else.

So i am waiting to hear from the clinic to have the smear done shakehead

hope ur all well x

Hey Amz,

I just noticed you had low vitamin D, what meds do you take for this? I had low vitamin D for years since early childhood (I'm 25 now) and finally got it up to 98 just recently. It's taken 2xAdcal-D3 in the morning and 6 Vitamin A+D BPC capsules (they're black gel capsules and the BPC is better at absorbing) daily to normalise my Vitamin D.

Also how tall are you? I am 5ft4 and know that my ideal BMI is 8 st 5ish. So are you at least balancing around that, or are you now going underweight? 6lbs is quite a bit to lose in 2 weeks. your body weight can naturally fluctuate by about 2-3lbs daily anyway, but it seems your weight is on more of a drop than that. The antidepressant switch can certainly do that, it did for me. If I don't have antidepressants not only does my mood plummet but my weight does too and it's really hard to stabilise it. My Trazadone though is currently doing a great job of keeping me chunky (I have to be overweight for my condition) at a stable level. Perhaps once your body starts to get used to the Sertraline and starts to find new eating habits then you may find your weight stabilises.

I really hope the smear goes well, and they don't find anything bad.

All the best
