Welcome to the HealingWell Depression forum. I am going to post a couple of free sites for you to check out. I think that they might help you.
I have gotten feedback on both of these sites and many have said that they have helped them. Also there is a book called "feeling good" by Dr. David Burns. It is about Cognative Behavioral Therapy and really does help. You can pick it up used on Amazon for about six or eight bucks.
Getting though depression is a lot of work. So if you can in any way see a counselor, it would be a smart move on your part. Most mental health facilities work on what is called a sliding scale. Meaning that they only charge what you can afford. And I am sure that there is one near you that does the same. Talk to your doctor about that and also get ahole of social services and see what they have to offer you. If you don't have insurance and don't make much money, you can get help.
Do you have any kids? Are you married? How is your life at home, what is that like. We need a little of your history to help you along. Know that we are all here for you.
