I know some people have it worse than me and i cant really complain that my life sucks cause i had my mom always there for me but when i was little i would go to my dads on the weekends and sometimes he said i could go but he would never show up or call me till the next day i think i started getting depressed around the age of 12 or 13 when i was old enough to realize what he was doing to me he always gets with this one woman and she was always mean to me and he would never believe me when i would tell him what she would do to me, he had plenty of nice girl friends that i liked and they were really nice to me but he never wanted the nice ones he always wanted this one woman they were married 5 times now hes staying with her and shes on drugs and now she has him on drugs he used to call me all the time until he got back with her we always fought he always took her side and i got blamed for everything then he just stopped calling me and now has nothing to do with me and im always depressed and i just never understand why he would do that to me sometimes he will stay at his moms and talk to his family and act like hes going to stay but he just goes right back to that stupid woman. I dont know how much more my bf can take of me i feel like im ruining our relationship, i get so depressed and i have a really really bad temper i start screaming and throwing things and its hard to calm down and sometimes i have anxiety attacks i get so bad that i feel like i wouldn't care if i died and i feel like no one cares. i take medicine ive tried everything nothing helps me idk what to do! The simplest things hurt me and make me depressed and sometimes i just randomly get depressed or wake up depressed. I just need someone to talk to please help. sorry this is so long i just have to get his off my mind!

Hello!! I am so sorry that you have been through so much for so many years. Did you say that you are on medications, and or have you tried seeing a therapist who specializes in what you are going through? Its possible that you may be dealing with more of a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder type of thing due to the trauma that you have had to deal with. Let us know what you have tried to ease your depression...I have been on meds since 15 1/2 as that was when the deep depression struck me. I dont think I would have been able to continue and finish high school without that boost.

What about trying a counselor again? Do you take anything with the abilify? How long have you been on it? I take pristiq with the abilify and it works well together. I use to take effexor and it worked good with the abilify. Talk to your pdoc about an antidepressant if you aren't already taking one. It sounds like you could use some support right about now. Know that we are here for you. It isn't always that active on the weekends, but there are a lot of people here during the week to talk to. You can always go into chat and too and see if anybody is there.

It sounds like you have had a lot of disappointment in your life. I am sorry about that. I hope that things get better for you. Try to move forward. It will be good for you. Know that you are among friends.

Hugs, Karen

I agree, dont give up on trying different meds, they take their sweet time to work at times, but its worth it when they do start working! Life will make more sense once you are feeling some happiness in your life. Have you searched out a specialist who could help you, not just the run of the mill therapist?? Due to the trauma and much disapointment that you have been through, my suggestion would be to find a specialist whos specialty is Trauma/Grief/Post Traumatic Stress Disorder....if you are only going to a family doc and not a speciality that may be one reason you are not getting results with the med, those docs are good for colds, etc, but not for deep issues of mental health like we have, and I am very blessed to have found one that knows what he is doing. I dont know if you are in the states or not, but if you are in the states, it would be pretty easy to find one in your are by looking online. If you dont have insurance, there are also free mental health facilities in or around your area who can get you started...let me know if I can be of more help on this matter :)

Praying for healing and peace for you....Big Hug to you...
