you know sometimes to speed up and get things
done you actually need to slow down. yeah i am
going fast, but tonight i have slowed down to give
my head and body a rest, and i feel much better
for it. i do like being busy-well to a point, and then
i do enjoy chilling a bit as well. i suppose i am, at
the moment trying to find a happy meduim. we
all have stuff going on, responsibilities, etc, but
for the betterment of it all i feel a happy meduim
is needed. yeah when i am totally manic i get a lot
done-but what is it am i getting done??!! this is
the problem. well it is for me. so are we happy
little vegemities in the making i hope so!!!
vegemite came from here and then the americans
took it. love the black stuff!!! anyone else????
remember that peace, and inner peace is internally
and externally generated. and i hope we all find
that happy medium. love to you all.

I think I tried some vegemite while in Australia this past winter. I liked it.

And yes, there needs to be a happy medium, Jamie. I tend to sit a lot from depression and fibro, but on saturday, I went outside and tried to do some yard work with the hubby - knowing full well I would be in pain for a few days. Yep - then I rested on sunday.

Okay my friend form the land down under, what is vegemite? I remember it mentioned in a song by "men at work".
I still have the vynal (ssp) record if the fire didn't ruin it. I love that song. But they talk about the vegemite sandwich. Always wondered what that was.

Hope you are doing better jamiee, i've been out of the loop for a couple of weeks....Had a friend that brought back some vegimite from vacation, couldn't really get past the sight of it so can't say i tried it tongue .

It's a jelly-looking spread. It's kinda dark brown/black. It's quite salty. Goes on crackers and toast. I don't even know what it's made of. But my Aussie friends were so surprised that I liked it.....I guess it's usually an acquired taste.

Wow,

Maybe someday I will be able to try some. Mushrooms don't look so appetizing (morels) but they do taste good. Though they are rich and you can't eat a lot.
