You are right 15, there isn't anything you can do to change their actions. But you can continue to control yours. Maybe eventually there will be a message that you can get out to your peers and younger adults about the dangers of drinking and drugs, and unprotected sex. I see it a lot in the town I live in. Every generation is starting younger and younger. People my age did it, their kids saw that and did the same thing. Nobody works. They all live on welfare and ADC. It is a wicked generation but donot dispise your youth. I guess that was written somewhere. My mother use to say that to me. Why, I don't know. Maybe I was one of the bad ones.
The sad part about it all is the lack of education. These kids don't persue anything with their lives and just keep getting dumber and dumber. They have no interest in life in general, government, learning or anything. Some of them don't even go to school at all. I know one who never saw the inside of a classroom. Not only was he missing out on an education, he didn't have any social skills as he was never around kids his own age.
I don't blame you for being irritated. But the best thing that you can do is to continue educating yourself and eventually maybe you can help the situation in some small way. I appreciate your feelings about this. It truly is sad. People don't realize that an education and taking care of yourself is a gift. What can you do??? Just know that you are understood.
