I use to work with several teenagers with depression and myself suffer from depression. I have seen intense counseling and group therapy done. It depends on how depressed you are, meds might be an option for a short while. What have you tried?

MD1996 : i play netball and im really into it. every day im down at the courts training or playing whether it be for club or school. i also do rock climbing on a thursday.
ak angel : i have tried going to councilling but i have not gone forthe last two weeks because i feel ashamed and akward talking about my issues to someone who i dont really know that well. i have tried letting it go and that definitly didnt work. i have done things thjat im unable to discuss on the forum which have not helped at all. i have never done meds.. the thing about that is my parents would have to find out and i dont want them to know because the relationship between us is crap and we dont get along. out of a ten i would probably be a 6\7 out of ten..

Netball,

I am glad to hear that you play netball and do rock climbing. These are things that both take focus. And that is good for you. Keep it up and try to do it as often as you can. It will take your mind off of the other things that bother you. Best wishes my friend.

Hugs, Karen
