No.  I just responded to a post in anxiety forum about violent, overstimulating movies, etc.   For my health and well-being I avoid such media events.

I could cry when I think about that little girl and all the children who have suffered and lost their lives at the hands of some sicko (for lack of a better word).

I guess I am just super sensitive to these issues, I know they exsist but I cannot make their viewing part of my dailey life.

I have watched a little bit of it. But it sickens me too. I am not good at handling these things.

The topic is fine. It may be a little off topic, but that is okay. I am interested to see who is following it. I have it on right now, but I haven't really been paying attention to it. It is sad.

Hope that you both are having a good day.

Hugs, Karen

I understand exactly what you are saying, Gem, and I appreciate that point of view.

My interest in it is purely from the standpoint of watching the legal
machine in action and hoping that justice is done for little Caylee.

I could never have been selected to serve on a jury in this case. The loss of an innocent child is horrific.

It seems not long ago there was another one where they found the little girl's grave, is that the same case? They had been putting flowers on the grave.

Just curious.

I can appreciate your stand point too. But I could never serve on a jury because I don't like the responsibility of somebody elses fate. I have been excused for life from jury duty. I am glad. When I got married a few years back they sent me a jury notification, I had them look up my old last name and they found that I was excused. I am just a big chicken when it comes to that. But it is interesting to see how the justice system works. I think a lot of people are watching.

Yes, they did find the site of Caylee's skeletal remains, Karen, and I think people did place flowers at the location in Orlando where the child was found.

Testimony today was a little boring while I was watching. Maybe both sides are building their case. We'll see how it goes next week. I was
glad to see George Anthony show respect for himself. He has been through so much. I want to see what his wife has to say, as well.

Take care,

I.G.

I have been watching it everyday. I feel horrible for all parties involved. It is a he/she said case at this moment. Casey may be guilty, but there is a lot of dirt coming out from the Anthony household. I can never ever want to imagine that someone is capable of making up such stories. Yet, I can never imagine the pain the parents are feeling if this is all lies. The parents have to protect themselves and yet be supportive and try to not send their daughter to the death chair. It is a horrible case and losing the granddaughter it's just so sad and devastating for all as well. I will never judge and I am glad I am not part of the jury because I would never want to be guilty of sending anyone to prison/death chair. I just hope the truth comes out somehow and the Anthony's cand put this behind them. The parents and all involved have been through hell and the media has added to the pain as well for the parents. People have judge the parents and been cruel to them as well. No one knows the truth so don't throw any stones. One never knows when this can happen to oneself. God be w/ them all.

So you have been following it, too, Simplistic 007? I feel sorry for the
family situation, too, but would like to know if a psychiatrist's full evaluation of Casey Anthony will be forthcoming at the trial. We all
could benefit by knowing what kind of personality illness is within the
mother of little Caylee.

I have my own idea of what it could all be about, but will reserve judgment until after the jury reaches its verdict for the court.

It'll be at least an informative two months of trial duty for the jurors,
and I hope that they may be able to recover from the ordeal as soon as possible.

It is best not to judge even ourselves, but we all do it at times, unfortunately. This is one case that I hope has some justice in it somewhere for the precious little child whose life is over.

Take care, Simplistic; thanks for your view.

I missed it today. I just began to watch it so I will have to listen for the recaps. It will very interesting to see the outcome of this case. It's Genetic, I would love to hear your view on this case. Listening to everyone's point of view is quite interesting. I am just glad I am not part of the jury selection. God bless them and give them patience and strength to get through this emotionally well. Thanks for your input.

I'm not watching it as I don't believe the media is giving us all the facts
involved in this case and without those it's truly hard to decide innocent or guilt.
I'm glad not to be on that jury....Sometimes case get tried in the media before going to court...
So without all the facts, How can we decide??????

Behavior is a sound and legal test, even more so than what people say.So if I'm going to do the wrong thing and make a judgment call, I would have to judge based on behavior, not on what is said to be as accurate as possible in evaluating what is happening.
