Jamie, I hope that you get some rest. If you are thinking too much at night, maybe you should check on risperdol. It can be taken as needed.

Take care,

Hugs, Karen

Sounds like things are getting better, for that I am very happy. Take care of you (and Buttons). I can't type, too early. Don't know what I am doing here, not woke up yet. lol...

One of your meds may be causing the sleep problems, Jamie. I'd ask my doctor which one could cause it, then try to take it at a time of day so that the least amount is in your system when bedtime comes.

Really sorry you're having a hard time with sleep. Hope you are able to get it resolved.

Hi Jamiee:  I agree with Karen.  I wonder if the meds are messing with your REM sleep and causing the bad dreams a night.  I know whenever I have a dosage adjustment or med change that always happens to me.

I'm sorry I haven't really been around.  It's been about 6 weeks now without my computer due to hard drive crashing.  I finally found the money to pay for it and I send it out for repair tomorrow morning.  Perhaps just about 12 days to go before they promise it to come back all fixed.  Unfortunately, it wasn't all under warranty.  But at this rate I'm just dying to get it back!

Keep working hard and hang in there.  By any chance have you tried meditation tapes for sleep?

Fondly,

Cass

I don't get much sleep, either. It takes at least two xanax to help put me away for the night, but without them or some other sedative, I'll toss and turn for a few hours, fall into a light sleep for a few hours, and then wake up at three in the morning, dozing in and out of sleep for a few hours. Without medicinal assistance, I doubt I get more than four hours of real sleep every night.
I won't touch ambien ever again, either. I'm not sure if it really puts you to sleep or just makes you forget being awake.

i have come to an understanding tonight. this is me. yeah it sux but it is still me. will change and work on what i am doing, the rest is just the cycle i am in. i suppose? i have not given in, maybe if i worry about it less and just let it happen i will better for it. am i going nuts or what. yeah running around my house swearing tonight, the release was wonderful. i have lost it. but that is how it is, you have to release or you lose yourself in the rapid cycle. so i am learning. got music ear bleeding loud and i am loving it!!!!! trying to make the mixed mod rapid cycling state seem somewhat bareable. 5/10 so far. i am getting ancy, that is when i duck into the shower. when i am up i study. down rest and or walk. i feel i need a degree just for this bloody illnesss!!!!!
when the mania kicks in i clean, usually with music playing. the problem is that there is no system, it is when it happens that you need your intervention. i am learning this big time. so darn tired. bloody stuffed.

oh well thought that i would share this. jamie
