Hi there,

Welcome to HealingWell. I am going to post a couple of sites that might help you. And they are free...

These are free sites that are supppose to be like therapy. So give them a look and see what you think.

Being depressed is no fun. We all know that. I hope it helps you to post here and I hope that you start to feel better soon. Know that we aren't doctors, or even professionals. We are just fellow sufferers.

I hope that this helps in some small way.

Hugs, Karen

But remember we can't help you if we don't know anything about what you are going through. But what you might benefit from is reading other posts to see how this kind of works. We always encourage counseling, which I hope that the sites will help you with. And going to the doc to see if you need meds. There are programs for low income people, if you fall into that category. So you might want to check that out. Many mental health facilities will work on a sliding scale bringing your costs down to barely anything. You might want to check that out. But until then, best wishes for a good day...

i feel the same way that you do. im also in the same boat of being new and not knowing where to start or what to say. i have alot of issues like crying all the time and sometimes its about nothing. then theres times where i just feel like im over reacting and bringing things up too much so i hold them in. i guess what im saying...maybe trying saying what is going on and what you need help on and maybe we can help eachother..

Depression is such an horrible thing to suffer from, i've been a manic depressive since i was 18 and took a right cocktail of anti-depressents and none have helped and i've noticed alot lately i'm crying more and having terrible outbursts but Lupus and everything else i suffer from thrieve on it, so i'm also on a losing battle.

I really know how you feel.

Diagnosed - Raynauds Phenomenon - Psoriasis - Lupus - Scleroderma
Antiphospholipid Syndrome/SLE - Sjogrens Disease - Hypothyroidism
Sytemic Lupus Erythematosus - Discoid Lupus Erythematosus - Bipolar
Megaloblastic Anaemia - Autoimmune Disease - ANA & ENA (High)

Medication - Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil)

I won't sugarcoat it.

Ur not going to wake up one morning and feel great.

I only posted yesterday about how I feel right now.

Just to let u know I can't really say anything to make u feel better. But at least u know ur not alone in how u feel. Cause I do. And I can't see it stopping. Ever. So know that if u need someone who genuinley understands and isn't just someone looking to say the right thing ..... I'm honest and here

Hi, Diamond20_UK,

I notice in your illness list that you post hypothyroidism, but you are
taking only hydroxychloroquine for Lupus. Why are you not taking
a thyroid supplement for the hypothyroidism?

Doctors will tell you that hypothyroidism can affect your whole life. I
would try to get that corrected very soon, knowing that it may help
give you some relief, at least.

Please see a specialist and have the biopsy and blood work done so that you may be medicated properly if your doctor thinks it's called for.
You won't regret having that checked. I've been told that regulating the thyroid hormones will go a long way in helping you feel better.
We're not doctors here, Diamond20_UK; we can only tell you about
things we've learned or been told ourselves by doctors.

Take care.
