I can empathize with you. My 14 yr old daughter who has Crohn's and other mental health issues, with one being depression, has had a hard time the last few months. We are on wait lists every where. I've also had to have Community Resource Team come into my home because she was talking suicide and cutting herself. I found calling a parents helpline and a distress centre to give me guidance and to just keep me sane has helped a lot. Is there anything like that available where you live?
We haven't tried any meds yet, but I'm hoping once we get in to see someone that maybe they will give her something in conjunction with therapy to help get her through this. She did have a psychiatrist, but because he's a male she won't see him...there are mitigating circumstances with that.
I hope your daughter starts to feel better soon, physically and mentally! And I hope you are doing well too!!
