Maybe switch to a different doctor. seek out counseling and maybe you can get
a better sometimes takes a little time to get to the right doctor,
it took me sometime to find the right fit for me, but it can help, so please

Hi Char87,

Welcome to the depression forum. I agree with Chartreux, see a different doctor. Depression can cause anger too. Being bipolar isn't the end of the world. It can be treated. I would suggest seeing a psyhiatrist to get the proper diagnosis. If you are bipolar, you need to be on medications for that. You may just be depressed, and the sooner you catch it the better it will be for you.

Like Chartreux mentioned, sometimes it takes awhile to find the right doctor. The right fit so to say. I have had many different counselors and different psychiatrists and I don't always feel comfortable around them. So then you switch until you find the right doctor. Dont give up. Get some help and you will feel better.

Keep posting and know that we do care...

Hugs, Karen

hi Char87 ,Ifeel its always better to know of a medical condition then not .I also know you have to go to more then one appointment and be totally honest and like the doc,or at least have a good rapport with the dr.I no longer take antidepressents but did for years. I'm aware its critial to know what type of depression you have to get on the right meds .Ifind the more exercise and activities Ido the less depressed Iget ,but I also have chronic pain ,which makes activies hard to do at times and I'm on other meds ,so Idon't want to take antidepressent meds as well, but Iwill say that taking them greatly can improve alot of peoples lifes. take care
