I am 18 years old but I have been really emotional all my life,I seem to get upset about everything.If things dont go my way i get these bad thought in my head like people dont like me.I dont like the word NO if someone tells me No then its like a shattering pain through my body.I have over stupid things in the past because i seriously dont know what else to do,Just because i had no fags i myself.I dont think this is normal at all.I go through pain everyday and i have took an OCD test online and it came out that i might have it.I dont clean alot or organize things but its just the small things off the diesese.I am frightened of the doctors and i just want advice from all you people out there so you can help me.Thank you

Thank you,But wouldn't a doctor just send me to a Councillor, I have talked to people before about this but it never helped and i just didnt go after a couple of weeks because they didnt keep it confidential.Do you reccomend me to see someone else?

Hi Drivenmadness,

And welcome to the forum. A doctor may send you to a counselor, which I feel you need. They may also give you medication, which you may need.

I think the biggest thing you need to learn is we don't always get what we want in life and there are going to be times that we are told no. You have to learn to accept that and deal with that. It will make your life much easier if you do.

Seeing a counselor would be good for you as you will learn better ways to cope than you are now. Harming yourself isn't the answer. But you will find what is the right answer for you. Coming here is good. We can give you suggestions as to what has worked for us. Please keep posting.
