Hi and welcome to the forum. i see where you are coming from. why are you feeling so depressed? do you know? i have c myself before and i regret it so much. im 13 years old and i have been through many rough patches before. i thought that  was my only option. it wasnt, and isnt. i now have scars on my arms that look ugly and they bring back those bad memories. i havent dont it for a while now. when i did it, i was afraid my mum would find out too. she never did though. i just wore long sleeve tops and jumpers. could you try just sitting down with your mum and telling her how you feel? i dont have a close relationship with my mum so i understand if that would be too hard for you. would she listen? or if you dont feel comfortable talking to her, you could write her a letter saying how you feel? thats all ive got sorry. hope it heps abit:)

HI NEWCOMER, MY son's girlfriend was or maybe still a. I've recently picked up this book about personality disorders. it's called "I have you, don't leave me". very informative. maybe you can get it at your local's helped me an awful lot, since my mom was just diagnosed with bi=polar. after all these years masking her pain with booze and pills, then got sober, but still had such rage, resentment, and jealousy. it made her ugly in and out. if she was only diagnosed early in life, like you, we all i mean our family would've gone a different way. when you cut yourself, what it does is release a happy hormone in your brain, similar to people on have to tell your mom, depression goes along with anxiety and personality disorder. you may have a chemical imbalance that you were born with and can't help what's goin on in your head, a good shrink will put you on the right path. but tell your mom. please stop hurting yourself. you are worth so much more. get help. get your not alone, many many many of us out there. keep posting it helps, you'll see.hang in there. take care and good luck,,, idea nono yeah redface redface redface
it's late where i live been online too long. gotta get some shut eye. take care ..... tyn2getby.

Hi and welcome to the forum. We aren't allowed to discuss self harm on this forum. So I had to edit some posts. Do try to talk to somebody, a counselor, a friend or family member. You shouldn't suffer alone. Take care,

Hugs Karen
