I am a 22 year old girl. A software engineer, quite good looking, around 5'5", wheatish complexion.
My biggest issue is the insecurity that i have about myself. I get nervous around people (specially girls) who are better than me in looks, intelligence etc.
Example: I have some friends (girls) who look better than me and I dont want my other friends to be friends with them because I might lose my importance then. That's such a gross feeling!! I hate it..

please help me.

In life we all have insecurities about the way we look and if we are good enough.
If you dwell on it it becomes out of proportion.....believe only in yourself what makes you feel good about yourself in the way you look and
and what you have achieved. In life there will always be better looking people and better achievers. People will see you for you.
If you continue to feel this way you will only make your life harder and get more depressed. You are who you are.....love yourself for you
and the people who can see your beauty and achievements. Once you accept yourself you wont get so nervous.....and people will see you shine. No one is more important than another....friendship is built on acceptance for who you are!!!!!!!
