I feel SO bad right now. I feel like crying until nothing comes out. I was awkward with my friends, so I decided to talk to them yesterday. One of them does not want to talk to me at all. They got mad at me because I did not explain what I was going through while I was having depression. They told me that they are through with me. They do not want to talk to me at all, maybe a hi and bye here and there, but that is all. They don't want to hang out at all how we used to. I know that I said some things that I did not mean, but they do not understand that. They took it the wrong way, and now, I can't fix it anymore. I feel super depressed, and I have things to do that require me to have a non-depressed face. I do not know if I am going to be able to hide it.

Hello, LostOne_000,

Whatever it was that happened, it was something that made your friends feel as though you really did not respect or care for them genuinely. I think you might want to get some counseling to help you understand your reactions to people and why you invited their criticism in what you might have said or done.

The helpful advice of a therapist should be part of the strength of your personality while you are healing and you may need medication, as well. I would consider calling a doctor and arranging for an interview and request an evaluation of a psychiatrist to get to the root of the personal problem you have. Medication and counseling may be the answer to help you back to a happy lifestyle and peace.

Keep posting as you wish and please do find an appropriate counselor to heal the wounds you've experienced recently--as well as those of the past.

If you go to the Home button for Healing Well you will find a site
for Depression and Bipolar Illness Resources which may be helpful if you are not receiving all that you need here.  Hope you resolve your problem soon.

Take care.

I have decided to sign up for counselin, but it hasn't started yet. I know I have a problem.

I do not know why it affected me so much. When I think about them, I still get that knot in my stomach.

It must be that they were kind of my only friends, and now that I am not with them, I feel lonely. However, this has helped me with my people skills since I am beginning to meet new people.

Thank you It's Genetic and Chansull.

Lost one,

I am happy to hear this. This is the first step to figuring out what kind of treatment that you are going to need. You can feel better. It is hard work, but it can be done. Know that we are all rooting for you!!!

Hugs, Karen

You're a smart lady, Lost_One000, and you've made a wise decision to go ahead with counseling. It will probably change your life for the
better in just weeks.

Take care.
