Hey Y'all

I've been taking abilify 2mg for 2 weeks, along with welbutrin and seroquel(both long term meds). The abilify is really helping....thank you sweet Lord.
I went to see my regular doc today and he asked if my therapist knew I was also takiing seroquel with my abiliify. Does anybody  know of any negative interactions?

If anybody knows, it's this bunch Thank you

Maggie

yeah take them together and have done so for awhile. pls note that i was on a max of 1200mg of seroquel, for sleep, hence massive weight gain. i noticed when i introduced the abilify at 10mg i felt more in control of my thoughts, and better cognitively. actually as i have been tapering of the seroquel and increasing the abilify i am finding i am doing even better. have tapered on the seroquel from 1200 to 900-600 and now i am at 450mg's. and at 30mg abilify i am finding i am more clearer have lost 8 kilos have more energy and for the first time in many years-last 2 nights, i have actually slept. so at the right dose i beleive that the two are an effective combo. albeit i am tapering of the seroquel for other reasons as well.

i wish you well. hoping this has helped, jamie

thanks jamiee

Yeah, I'm on fairly low levels so far. 300mg seroquel (snoozarama) and 5mg abilify in am, but might go up. I gained weight on seroquel too but the alternative was unacceptable. The abilify has amped up my sweet tooth so I just have to say no. Why do we always have to say no to all the good stuff-lol Thanks
