I have recently been diagnosed with peri metapause.  My depression and anxiety is so much worse during this time to the point I cry about nothing,  bite off people head and I am super sensitive.  my meds were changed about a month ago and I see a therapist and a psychiatrist.  Does anyone have any thoughts on this?  Experiences they would like to share?  After I have my period, I am like a different person.  It definately sucks!
(again, sorry to the men!)
I am experiencing the peri right now!

A couple of things you can do is cut out the carbs when you are going through pms and try to exercise. This will help you fight the moodiness that you get. Perimenopause is no fun. I was that way for 20 years. It started when I was 30. The pms is sooo bad. So I know what you are going through.

I took horemones too, but the doctors don't really like to prescribe them due to cancer risks. But you might want to think about it. They helped me. Cutting out caffiene too at this time of the month, or cutting back. I could never cut my coffee out.

I hope that this helps some Lisa.

Thanks getting by!
I am not sure about taking hormones, I have already had cancer (15 yrs in remission) I had it when I was 25...hodkins lymphoma. I am 40 and it seems like I am too young to be going through this. I am going to see my GYN in about a week and a half. I will see what she has to say. I would not be able to cut out my coffee also.
Thanks for the tips and it is good to know that I am not alone and crazy! (not that I want you to go through this...sometimes it is like going through hell and I don't recognize myself!
Take care
