Time to get ready for work.
Not looking forward to today.  Haven't seen my youngest son (and co-worker) since Thursday... when I left in a huff because of his surly attitude.

Cat still hasn't shown up, and neither did UPS (United Parcel Service) on Friday.  We have a daily pick up service (or supposed to have).... so the shipment didn't go out.  Another problem to solve.

Hope everyones day goes smoothly.

Awty, the second cancer (Prostate) is being treated with hormones, which stay effective for about two years... then usually stop working.
His doctor wants John to start radiation, but we're considering not going that route....because of his age, and side effects. Our motto this week is.... "Quality Over Quantity"!

Joyce,

I hope his cancer stays in remission. Both of them. Radiation is hard. My first husband had to have it. He had lung cancer. He lost the hair on one side of his head, one eyebrow and half of his mustache. It was funny at the time, but it isn't now. But even he got a laugh out of it. Then one day they almost radiated a mole because his tattoos bled. Luckily they caught it first. His tongue got sore on one side too. He was getting radiation on his neck. He had two tumors in the lymphnodes.

He isn't suffering anymore. The anniversary of his death is on the 21st. His cousin's birthday. So sad for her. She gets depressed every year at this time.

I don't know why I am rattling on about this today. Just kind of thinking about it. But there are happy things to think aobut so I am going to do that. The weather sucks here today. Cold and windy. Suppose to be really windy tonight. Hope we don't lose power. I haven't been able to walk much in this weather. Too cold. Got to bundle up and get out there and get my exercise. I hope that you are having a good day.

Hugs, Karen
