Good morning,
2nd try here today, deleted my first attempt.  Guess you can edit the content of your message but not the 'subject'.  (I spelled Oct.  wrong.)

Anyway,  another day.
In the 60s and cloudy expected today.

Check in and share how are the rest of you doing?

Good Morning,

I got up at 7:00 this morning thanks to my dog stepping on my head. My hubby sneezed and it scared her. So I am up and Adam. Whatever that means. I hope you all have a great day. Thanks for the Check in Joyce. I look forward to that everyday.

Hugs, Karen

good morning,

My son is finally off to school and really moving slowly when the bus is waiting outside. It makes the morning a bit stressful.
I'm hoping to volunteer at a preschool today to get myself out of the house. I really enjoyed it last week but get a little anxious before its time to go. I think I will be ok today. I made a whole bunch of die cut shapes of leaves and pumpkins for the kids. Helps keep my mind occupied.

enjoy the day.

will try in a minute. promise. been having a virus issue with internet explorer. apparently a malicious add on is being naughty. keeps shutting down internet. run norton full scan as an additional to its usual preprogrammed stuff. found 17 issues that it fixed, and it was only ran a week ago. got to be vigilant my friends. keep an eye on your internet security and associated bugs.
luv, jamie

I have avg on this computer, but nothing on my laptop. Trying to find something free. The avg is free, but I can't seem to download it to my laptop. Going to try again. There is another good one, but I can't think of the name of it. Not Mcfae, but something similar.

Best wishes to get the viruses.

I've got Norton, too... no problems or unusual issues here.

Still puff-free, and missing them like crazy. (Maybe I should try the 10 a day, )

Is your Norton free or do you pay for it? I want something free. I had help getting avg, maybe they will help me again. I hate to ask her though.

If you can stay puff-free, do so. Because it is hard to stay at ten ciggies if you like to smoke. I was at 10 or less for awhile and gradually snuck up to a pack a day. I usually try to time them with just having one every hour. Long days I smoke more.

I am going to make chicken noodle soup today. I make a big pot of it. I haven't made it since last winter. I make a big batch and freeze some. It is so good. I really love it. I put carrots, celery, onions and garlic in it. I am going to start that soon.

I hope you are having a good day. Keep the mind busy so you don't think about smoking. Jamie just quit. I did last year for two months. Stupid to start again... Bad, nasty, and dirty habit. I started at about 13. Smoked long enough, time to get healthy!

Thanks again for the Checkin...

Karen lol on your dog stepping on your head!! So funny. Hang in Joyce. I got myself down to 5 a day and crept up to 10 so it is all or nothing. Doc told katie to stay home today but she didn't want to miss geometry again (especially w/ add)...she's a trooper.

I finally have a new pain doc. His office called today and we did pre-interview-don't get in til 11/29 but after 8 months with no pain meds, I can wait . I know ALOT of this depression has been the pain from my DDD and fibro, bursitis and sciatica. So, I have high hopes...I hope he's not one of those docs that want to give you an anti-depressant or something useless for pain. Alot of pain clinics don't prescribe narcotics-I know they are not the answer, but they not only helped pain but gave me energy also. Anyone else get that? My husband would laugh when I started cleaning and say"Uh-oh you got your pain pills" lol

Yum Chicken soup...I'm making salisbury steaks with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Checkin' out for now
so nice to have you ladies here

Maggie,

I agree with you about the pain meds, they give me a little energy too. As long as they aren't the heavy duty ones. I take norco and it works well for me. If my pain gets worse, I will ask about something stronger. But I can tolerate a lot of pain so I can handle this. I am usually at a 3 or 4 on the pain scale. 0 would be nice though. But I know I wont see that. So I live with the norco and adderall for fatigue. They seem to work well together. I can't complain. I think that the fatigue effects me much more than the pain. I hate that feeling of exhaustion. There was a time where I barely had the strength to walk. I had to hang onto furniture to stand up. But I noticed a cycle which was wierd. I think I was flaring at the time. But if I didn't have the meds, I would be in really rough shape.

Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes sounds really good right now. I just visited a girlfriend for a few minutes, and it was cold coming home. So that chicken soup sounds pretty good too. It turned out pretty good. I am glad because it was a lot of work. lol... I don't know why I am laughing...

I hope that you have a good night. Take care... See you all tomorrow.
