hello,
I'm having trouble getting going in the mornings.  The anxiety seems to be the worst but once I get beyond it I can function.
Does anyone have some ideas for how to get out of your head and get your body moving in the morning.  We have plans to go to the beach today to check on our house but I'm filled with anxiety today.  Just took a bit of klonapin to help.  Trying to get myslef to do something with my son but its so hard to get going.

I always take my showers in the morning. That helps, and a short walk. I hope that it helps you too. Exercise in the morning is good also.

Hugs, Karen

Oh and plenty of coffee... lol... That works for me... Though coffee, being a stimulant can worsen your anxiety in reality. Not good for depression always either.

Yes hydro therapy is good, I do 10 deep breathing before I get out of bed and gentle stretching.... a must for me is a prayer

Thanks. I think I need to try the walk in the morning with my dog.
Today was difficult. I usually can get up and get my son ready for school because we have a routine. When I'm feeling lousy I think the weekends are harder.
We are at our beach house for the night. Its very pretty and happy. I decorated it with grays, blues and white for a soothing feeling. I loved picking out all the colors when I was feeling good. A short walk on the beach with my husband was nice too. Helps with the anxiety. It was chilly but nice to watch the surfers.
