i cant tell if its depression or not...i dont know what kind but im pretty sure its some type of depression. sometimes it will be more painful and sad and other times its not as bad but im almost never happy. it gets to the point where i forget what happiness is like and sometimes i stop believing in happiness...and whenever i AM happy it takes less that a day for the super deep sadness to come back! it keeps coming back! sometimes there are reasons causing the sadness and sometimes its for no reason at all. so the questions are:
1. is this depression? and if so what type?
2. how do i get rid of this pain?

First, how ol are you? Have you ever been seen by a counselor or doctor for these feelings? There are the "blues", normal life events that make us sad for awhile and then there is depression or dysthymia(low-leveldepression).

If you check out depression resources at top of our forum page, this will help. It sounds like more than the blues to me, but there is alot of help and great meds these days

Let us know

Hi Lululabelle12,

Have you given any thought to talking to a school counselor? I think it would help. Your best friend can help some too. But you need to work on yourself with a counselor. They really do help.

I really hope that you feel better soon. Keep posting and letting us know how you are doing.

Hugs, Karen
