hi guys, i am officially stuffed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seen the sleep doc, good session, and ah yes i have mild sleep aponea!!!!!!!!! he showed me the sinus read outs, in rem sleep i stop breathing. my throat plays up, i snore, he showed me this also. what is good is that i do not need a cpap machine, can't use a inner mouth device due to no teeth in my head so we are going the sprays in the nostrils before bed. rhinoccourt 64 and atrovent. other contributing factors, he said, were my psychiatric disease and medications, smoking, diabetes and weight. thx for ya prayers, he is a good man he bulk billed me. yay!!!!!!!! really helps. will see him again in march. see my shrink tomorrow, the letter should open up his eyes. oh i tried not sleeping using the seroquel last night, bad move. at least i now know that i need something to aide me. be it seroquel or not. walked the dog late, put the bins out and layed down. have had a feed and i am ready for bed.....proper. gave my neighbour a kiss and bday card.

luv 2 all, jamie smilewinkgrin

Nice to see folks 'up and at 'em'

Computer giving me hissy fits this morning. Hope it hangs in there. We're into our so called 'busy' season at work and don't want to give another chore of fixing this to my son.

Jaimee, it's good you found all this out...and that maybe the medicines will help
open your nose. But I wouldn't just toss out the seroquel. However you might want to
consider getting into an ENT for your nose problems, or an allergist to find out
if you have night time allergies keeping you up (dust allergy ect....) maybe a
humdifier might also help. I use a Saline nasal spray at night, Hope your doing
better soon....well wishes with your counselor today...
keep us posted...

am so tired with all the running around guys, yep seen the shrink, we have decided that we need to continue to taper of the seroquel, hence he gave me a script for 200mg seroquel. we are going to see how that goes for a month. also will be doing bloods for tegretol and lithium. the tegretol may be increased again. he was spun out that i went a night without the seroquel and he knew that it would wreck me. he was spun out by the sleep drs letter also. he was in a good frame of mind, we had a good chat. luv ya's jamie

Yes, we were "sawing logs", at least I was. Great visit w/ sister...ate lots of shrimp(off the barbie-lol) and talked and hung out with Katie...alittle rainy and cold, so today we hope to take boat out to bayou for a spin eat some more...

She is a very special person who overcames rape at 9 and alcoholism and now has 2 Master's degrees and a high-falutin' job, but she is also very active in her Chuch, w/o being sanctimonious..funny loving she is my best friend, I am lucky to have her....lucky to have my friends right here...I found my self talking about y'all, friendship I have found here, as if you lived next door-lol

Anyway, was too exhausted to even write last night, pretty worn out this am, but sure I will rally later

Jamiee, glad you are still taking that low level seroquel and hope you catch some zzzs, glad doc was receptive to you take care til later friend

Luv ya
Maggie

Sorry about snoozing...they say it's better to get up then lie there, but we do a little of both, lol. Hope it gets better, jamie

Yes, back is a little sore, but at least I have some meds now. Very cold and windy with small craft advisory so we might just stay in and play some Scrabble(ongoing family competition-tough) and eat off the grill again...

so good to see family, I'm very blessed to have an awesome relationship with all my family...and my healingwell family too..My sister, Persis is really glad I have a support group..

Luv to all of you, be back later

Maggie

Hey Jamie.  Glad to see that you got some positive results from your sleep doctor and it's good to see that he's helping you out with his fees.

Me, myself?  Well, it's 4:15 am here and I'm typing online.  I only take 25 mg. of Seroquel every night, but I forgot to fill my prescription.  Quite obviously that makes a big difference for me.  I wish I could sleep.

Hope your day is going well.  Keep plugging along.

Cass
