Could it be split into 3 or 4 pieces?

The last word is mantis--still working on first one.

Awty, just read this story....and thought of you (hope it's ok to post something 'off topic' )

WELLINGTON, New Zealand — A 3-year-old girl comforted herself with her favorite toy and ate cheese, leftover lasagna and milk for two days after her mother died unexpectedly in their New Zealand home.

Got it, IG probably got it too.

Praying Mantis. I couldn't get it for the life of me. I used your clue and IG's part and got it. They bite, did you know that? I got bit by one once. They are rather mean. Or just don't want to be messeed with. And strange looking...

another critter, a little bigger

I brought a cocoon into my shop once and we put it into a glass jar... (have no idea why). Anyway... it hatched with HUNDREDS (I tend to exaggerate) of Praying Mantis jumping everywhere. No, I didn't know they could bite. Thanks for the warning

Sad thing is, on Thurs, 24 hrs after Mum died, I was talking to her from the upstairs window when I was having a smoke, she spoke very few words, but I wish she had told me. Thanks for your concern Grandma J, it's been two weeks now, and it still upsets me going home, and knowing there is just one wall between my place and hers and I had no idea, the little one never cried

OMG Awty,

Somehow I missed that post. I am so sorry to hear about the little girl. This must be so tragic for you and for the little girl. I hope she is okay and has somebody to take care of her. See you after the weekend. I hope it is a good one.
Hugs, Karen

Yes, PA-grandma, I've been thinking we might enjoy a new topic, too.

How about vegetables? (For a short while)

When television is on and I'm watching words, I tend to start trying to make another word out of each of them. Is anybody else experiencing this also?

Here's a vegetable: HQSEWOYLLUSA (2 WORDS)
