Welcome to the depression forum. What you need to do it either go to your doctor or a counselor and get on some medication for your depression. Drinking really doesn't help you sleep. They tell you not to drink alcohol before you go to bed. And since it is a depressant, it is going to make you even more depressed than you already are. It is probably adding to your stomache problems too.
Try not to feel hopeless, get proactive and do what it takes to get some help for yourself. I am not saying in any way that it is going to be easy, it will be work, but it will be worth it. You may even want to go to couples counseling to get your marriage back on track. You need to be able to talk to your spouse. There should be no lack of communication there. So to talk to them and see what you can do to get you both on the same level.
