Hi It's doglover here. I have not been on for a long time and I really miss talking to others out there that feel the same way I do. You can talk to family members and your spouse but it's not the same. I have been off sick the last couple of days from work and I have to say it was really nice not having to go. I am really hating my job right now and eveything about it. It has changed so much over the years and the general feeling is really negative amoung almost all my co workers. I have tried to snap myself out of it but somedays I find it very difficult. I really don't like my employers and almost feel sick when I drive into the parking lot. I really don't know what to do anymore. Can someone please help.

Hi Doglover,

Glad you posted, sorry that you are down. But remember, the one thing in life that doesn't change is the fact that there will always be change. Things will get better. Employees will come and they will go. But you will probably have your job for a long time if you can hang in there for awhile longer.

The sick feeling that you are experiencing could be from anxiety. That will do it to you. Are you seeing anybody for depression? A counselor or doctor? I would talk to somebody and see if meds would help you. IF you really hate your job, I would start looking for another one. Don't just up and quit. I, myself, think it will get better. But you know what you can handle, there are options. But I would talk to a professional before you make any decisions. Enjoy your days off, even though you are sick.

Hugs, Karen

Sure hope things get better for you at work and if not then maybe after the holidays,
start getting Resumes ready...and maybe think about going back to college and getting some
refresher classess, or maybe take a short vacation type leave and decided what
you want and make some goals for your'll not be easy, but maybe it can help...
and Maybe it's just the holiday season getting to you...seeking out counseling
should also help, consult with a professional before making any drastic changes...
Hope this info can help..and sure hope your feeling better soon...keep us posted...

Dear Doglover...Karen has made some great points. We had some changes about 3yrs. ago at work, our boss made all these changes. The moral was terrible but here we are today with a new boss(last one got canned) and the changes the old boss made have been changed back as of oct.11th and are office is much happier.

Chart...also had a good point wait until the new year and put out some resumes or think of going back to school.

Good luck in what ever you decide/

Take care, Amy
