Sometimes I find that playing the guitar helps, I completely suck at it by it's something to distract me from everything else. I can only play one song pretty badly which is canon in D.

What are some hobbies (doesn't have to be hobbies could be anything else) you guys do to keep yourself up?

Hi jamiee, I read your poem, I really liked it since it put a smile on my face.

Poetry was something I used to write several years ago, I actually able to track it down on deviant art (surprised it still existed). Reading it was pretty nostalgic but apparently I had better vocabulary back then :) and a lot darker/"emo" as well, I think that was the first time I've experience real depression.

I love to journal, listen to ALL kinds of music (altho am big fan of classical and hard rock from 60's and blues) love to read (if I can concentrate) these all take me out of the pain...used to love to go for boat rides on the bayou but hurts my back too much...

I do creative visualization which gives me peace for awhile (til rela world comes screaming back thru the door-LOL)

I love to talk here-it is a habit now but a good one

I listen to music, paint and wood burn. Oh and also make jewelry. I haven't been doing any of this lately, but with the winter months, it makes me want to start again.

Thanks for the lovely thread.

Hugs, Karen
