I am glad that you started a new thread. I am having a good day so far. It is early yet though. Most of my days are good. Don't do a lot, but putter around.

This has been a wonderful thread Joyce, It brings us together in a positive way.

Thanks...

Taking a cross-stitching class tonight, it'll be a nice piece with the wildflowers of Texas
on it and Texas sayings, but the teacher isn't the nicest, so that'll be the challenge
along with getting the homework done...yep cross-stitch classes usually have homework to
do to get caught up and I might have to change the fabric from 30 count to 28 count,
cause I'm working a small piece on 30 count and having a very hard time seeing it with
my glasses on...anyways just wanted to talk about it...PA Grandma was this what you meant...
Hope everyone is having a great day...it'll be another nice day here in Texas 75, but cooler
days are coming....

Is cross stitching hard?

I am suppose to go to exercise class tonight, but we are having a winter storm and it may be cancelled.

My knees hurt today, think it is the weather.

It is really snowing and blowing out today. We had freezing rain last night so there is ice under the snow. Good day to stay inside, I am in cooking a pork roast. Will have carrots, potatoes, brocolli, and avocado with tomato with dressing on it.

I am trying the new medication today, vyvanse, so far so good. I have to go slowly and fiddle with the mgs until I find what is right for me. So far I feel okay. I am not tired, but not super energetic, so I think it will be easy to tell how much I am going to need to take. They started me out with 20 and said I can go up to 60 if I need. Then let them know so they can send me the proper script. I just hope it works. Like I said, so far, so good. I can't really tell any difference.

I hope you all are having a great day today.

Hugs, Karen

Chartreux, I used to cross stitch when I was younger! and I mean reallll little ( like 7?) I would like to get started again, I will have to call my Mamsey (grandmother) and see if she can start me one.

I am going to yoga after work. I haven't ever gone to a yoga class before, just done it on my own at home. I hope it will do me well. See, on days when I have things planned, MUCH BETTER MOOD!

Also, going to start doing many more crafts & I think I will put them on my blog that I start, whenever I figure our how to do that.

Good luck with the Vyvanse, Karen. I know a few people that take it and they don't have any complaints.

Courtney

Hello all, Friday 13th, my first date, wow, love so strong, about the best day of my life that I can remember. Better late than never.

I was on my train going home the other day feeling a bit depressed and then a guy in a wheel chair boarded the train. I felt for him, he asked me if I could get a jacket out of his bag. I did this and helped him get the jacket on. I asked him if he had palsy and he said no, he had a spinal injury. I said that must be hard and he said lifes sad and then you die. I felt ashamed of myself, my depression, and i felt really disappointed in myself for not coping in my life.

Good morning...cold, windy...but dry weather.

Not much happening here with me... more dead mice at the door, but that's nothing new, and at least they're outside.

Will be having a discussion today at work about production for this year.   Spent a lot of time trying to get facts and figures together about 2011.  Hope it's all correct.

When I went to Google to 'search' this morning, I see their name is covered up.  Part of today's black out.  Has anyone noticed anywhere else?

today I am taking two vyvanse, I will let you know how it all goes. Yesterday I took one in early afternoon. Felt normal pretty much, but had trouble sleeping at first. Today I am taking two early in the morning. I hope it works better than one. I will keep you all posted.

Stephen, often we see people worse off than outselves. We feel for them and are nice to them as you were. But don't let it make you feel less important. Your problems are very important and they are yours. So Keep on trying as you have been. You have come a long ways.

I locked the other thread...

Capris and sandals yesterday, boots and sweater today. Crazy weather in Louisiana!

Yoga class was cancelled yesterday, so I went for a walk with a coworker. Trying to be comfortable in a bikini this summer... always wear them, but this year, I want to look good!

I think I have breakfast plans for Sunday, which is good for me since Sundays are my "hard days". Hope there's a good sale at the grocery store this week... need to stock up on healthier things to drop these 12 pounds!

Do you drink soda Courtney? I lost 25 pounds going off of soda and switching to water. It really helps. Keep up the good work my friend. You are doing great!!!!

I do sometimes, but not often. I drink mainly water, but I really like carbs (who doesn't?!?!) I lost 35 pounds last year just dieting, so this has to be the year of exercise... yuck!

When I was 18, I could eat whatever I wanted and you could never tell! Now, I'm almost 23 and you can tell... so if I want to keep eating things I like, I need to exercise.

That is the right attitude. I am starting exercise classes on tue and thurs nights. Only five bucks to go. I just haven't started yet. lol...

I do a lot of walking and that helps. But with winter it is hard. I have a hard time going out in the snow. I hate winter...

I hope that you are having a good day. Keep posting Courtney. Love hearing from you...

Cross stitching is easy just counting...I do the counted type...usually with silks on Linens
Class went by good but I'll have to get a 28 count (14 aide) size piece of linen as
the 30 count was too hard to see...no biggie....and the 28 count will work out better for the silks...
Michaels or Hobby Lobby here in the USA have kits, you can get...usually with aide fabric
and that is too rough for my hands so that's why I use linen or a softer cotton fabrics...
www.123stitch.com has supplies...stoneycreek has supplies too...both offer the lower shipping
than any other on line stores...but if you have local shops give those a try...and maybe sign up for a class...

Good morning....Thursday the 19th.

Don't know what it's doing outside....too dark.  Had to tie up my wind chimes yesterday, they were really clanking away in the 40 MPH.  Going to be chilly here all week.

I saw the cutest film clip on last night's network news.
It was a crow that used a jar lid as a sled, and went sliding down in the snow on the house roof .  It got to the bottom, picked up the lid and did it over again.

I hope I can find the video and post it here.

Did anyone else see it?

Hi, Magpie..

Just a little question about 'logging in'. I had to do that again, just now...even though I've been active and posted earlier this morning. Is there a time frame, or what?

It's no big deal, just a surprise.

I am embarassed to admit that I was so lazy that for years I would google hw and get on like that-occasionally having to login.

i FINALLY right clicked and hit "create shortcut" and now it's on desktop and I rarely have to login (don;t know the whys or whats of that) It goes right to depression forum.

Does that help or are you way ahead of me-lol

Think I'm ahead of you, Mag.
Healing well is in my 'favorites' and has been from the start....and it takes me right here. It's the 'log in' part that I question.

Never 'log out'... and have occasionally (in past) had to log in again. Figured it was because I hadn't visited the site for awhile.

This time, I was active...but when I clicked on favorites to get here for the second time this morning...no 'view last post' symbol was showing, so I knew I had to log in again.

I'd be curious about the rest of the gang that are 'regular' posters experience.

I have to relogin about every 50 posts or so. So it is nothing to worry about, just something we have to do.

I hope you all are having a great day. We are having another snow storm.

Takie care everybody, exercise class tonight.

Started my blog last night. I think it will be both helpful to me and others. As soon as I figure out how to promote it, I will...

Pottery class tonight- does the OCD good to take a break! Will see a good friend tomorrow night who is coming in from out of town so that will be good.

Still find myself wondering sometimes how ex can be so happy after what she did to me... I hope its a perception of happy (maybe I'm a bit jealous?) Yowza... want to be finished with sorting through all the demons of my past!

It's colder here today. Carter snuggled up next to me all night thank goodness. Went to grocery store yesterday AND Rite Aid to use my coupons for $1 Dove shampoo. I have gotten to where I can go alone, but I like to be on the phone. I guess that makes me feel less alone or if I ran into someone that would question me I'm already occupied. See, crazy!

Joyce, I have to login every day, but that's because I clear my history for my browser. It's probably a security measure that the site makes you login again.

Time for coffee :)

Youer ex is NOT happy Bean or she wouldn't be using drugs and alcohol-she is masking unhappiness. You have progressed soo much...where is she? Doing the SOS.

Karen-How is Vyvanse? Was it expensive? Very curious...hope you are ok...just not up for talking right now

Have a good day-will be 70 today, am is 35.
