Many of us have fibro and depression and have been prescribed adderall or other stimulants for extreme fatigue.

My daughter is adhd and was very depressed and concerta has helped her adhd. Her adhd was very depressing for her, couldn't study or concentrate etc, so maybe your depression was a result of dealing with your add.

Anyway, I am happy for you continued success

Deacon,

This is great news. I am so happy for you. I am trying vyvanse today. I was taking adderall but there is a shortage of it so I am now trying the vyvanse. I hope it works as well. So far so good.

Let us know how this goes. Again, I am really happy for you.

Hugs, Karen

Hey Karen
Let me know how vyvanse works for ya....i can't afford it but.... going to doc for new script for adderall (if I can get it)...since i stopped cymbalta, all I want to do is sleep and I have been a chronic severe insomniac for 20 years??? I'm afraid antids are needed, since i have been crying for 4 days straight, over nothing-

I hope you can find adderall, if not, try ritalin. It works good. But try to get imediate release instead of concerta. You might be able to get the time release adderall which is good too. But the imediate release is hard to find.

I hope you find what works for you. Just having a stimulant might put you into a good mood. I wish you much success Maggie.

Hugs, Karen

I took the vyvanse today. It seems to be okay but I have a slight headache, maybe it will go away. I am kind of tired, but would be getting tired this time of the night anyway. But I think I may need a higher dose. I will try again tomorrow wieh two capsules.

Best wishes,

Hugs, Karen

I am hoping to get an Rx for a stimulant. I have suffered from debilitating fatigue for 5 years now. My depression symptoms have improved since my meds have been adjusted. However, I still have this horrible fatigue. I have had blood work done. I do have EBV , but all other labs are fine. My Dr. seems to be annoyed with my complaints. So he told me a need to find a Psych for a stimulant. I look forward to trying what is available. Good Luck to the OP :)

you may have fibromyalgia, or chronic fatigue. The stimulants will help you.
