My Psychiatrist mentioned this info as it was being discussed on Public Radio today in our area.  FYI only. There is always hope !

I read the article; very encouraging in several ways, Skitt.

I'll be asking my psychiatrist about the scopolamine patches. I think, if I'm not mistaken, that scopolamine was an ingredient years ago in an over-the-counter product for digestive problems but was removed from the market because of addictive qualities. I feel sure it has been altered for current use and is far more effective.

This is a life-long battle for maintenance, I think. We just have to keep working at it until we're content (at least) with the effectiveness of what we are doing for ourselves.

We do need people and Doctor's pushing for better depression medicines...

But Ketamine sounds promising as well...
