Hi, Display here.

I was on a temporary job supposedly for 3 months, but it ends today after 2 weeks. I'm feeling depressed about being out in the job market again. I also decided not to report for the job today, I'm not feeling well.

Just trying to keep my mind on today, instead of the difficult days to come with job search and being alone.

I'm also upset about the way they treated me on this temporary job. They were highly suspicious and distrustful of my best efforts. I feel bummed about work in general.

I hope to feel better after getting the above off my chest.

Thanks for listening,

HI Display,

I am sorry that your job is coming to an end. I would be searcing for something else to replace it. Did you work long enough to draw unemployment? Have you thought about signing up for disability? Or do you feel that it is even at that point. My husband wants me to sign up again. I am thinking about it. I tried before but my doctor was a nurse practitioner and they wouldn't recognize her report. I thought that was not cool. But at the same time they wanted a report from my social worker and then dismissed it. I had a yucky judge. But you might get it, and I am going to try again.

Best wishes to you display...

Hugs, Karen

I'm sorry to hear about the job loss, and how they treated you. Please don't take it personally - as terrible as it is, we're even told at my store to be highly observant to seasonal help because they're more likely to steal knowing they won't be working there long. However, they never should have made you feel uncomfortable.

Were you working through a temp agency or was it direct through the company? Definitely look into collecting unemployment. I wish you the best of luck finding a more permanent position quickly.
